The computer mouse created by Lithuanians receives a prestigious “iF Product Design Award 2013”

Lithuanian-capital company “ACME Europe” received a prestigious “iF Product Design Award 2013” for wireless rechargeable ACME “Peanut mouse”. This is the largest annual European design competition, organised in Germany since 1953. This award has already become a hallmark of exceptional design and benchmark for product quality that has earned recognition among manufacturers, designers, clients and in the media. The awards are given for best works in three categories: product design, packaging design and communication design.

This mouse echoes the shape of a peanut. The symmetric build of ACME “Peanut mouse” makes it distinctively functional and perfect for both right-handed and left-handed users. This uniquely designed mouse has an integrated lithium polymer battery which is rechargeable via USB cable. Only several hours of charging guarantee continuous operation for up to one month. You can use the device even during the battery charge as a wired mouse.

Every year the winners of this prestigious award are chosen from a large pool of distinctively designed products. In selecting the product design award winners, the jury considers aspects such as quality of design, functionality, degree of innovation, ease of use and environmental impact.

This Autumn ACME “Peanut mouse” also received even two “Plus X Awards” – in the “Design” and “Ease of Use” categories. Our original mouse was also one of the winners in the “GOOD DESIGN” competition last spring.
